Founded in 2005, The Nautical Yearbook is an annual publication for students by students that encompasses various aspects of our University over the past year through the combination of in-depth articles, edgy photography, and sharp eye-catching layout and graphic designs within numerous full color pages, printed and bound to the highest quality. The Nautical serves as an inspirational outlet for students who want to use their knowledge, skills, interests and hobbies in real world applications.
The Nautical Yearbook exists at two levels: working closely with professors and their students to sustain an academic connection to the classroom and subject matter, and as a student club, permitting any student of CSU Channel Islands to participate and contribute in any way they can.
As the recipient of the 2005-2006 CSU Channel Islands Outstanding Organization Service Project of the Year Award, we hold our yearbook to high standards, as our students hold us to high expectations, we won’t settle for anything less than The Best.
The Nautical Yearbook is a member of the ASI board, serving as one of “The Entities” alongside Student Government, Student Programming Board (SPB), and the CI View Student Newspaper.
